In short, my business name.
It all started with a series of projects that I completed in my spare time.
My Great Uncle opened up a bar and he needed a website, artwork, flyers, and more.
I wanted to honor my loved ones by creating their obituaries and videos (and save the family money).
I wanted to do a craft show.
I had the experience and the time, but I wanted create something more professional to represent my work. I asked my very artistic, talented Sisters who actually went to college for graphic design and publishing to help out and they gained some things to add to their portfolios.
The first thing I had to do was get a logo. My sister, Athena did the graphic work and my sister Antoinette added some important details. I wanted a name that was generally ambiguous to capture everything I do, while being versatile enough to evolve over time. People call me mysterious. I've always loved the sound of the word maracuja, which means passion fruit. The colors of passion fruit are purple, yellow, and white. I ate a fresh one in Maui and I never will forget it!
So Mystery Maracuja stuck. Here's our work up and the logo on some projects:
My sisters are quite beautiful, so I asked if I could also use their photos. Luckily, they said yes.
